Essentials of Orthopedic Massage is a comprehensive therapist training program that covers rehabilitation science and essential skills necessary for massage therapists working with musculoskeletal pain and injury conditions, or movement limitations. The course emphasizes practical applications of critical methods of soft-tissue assessment and treatment that will greatly enhance your skills when working with clients grappling with various pain and injury conditions. The core goal of the orthopedic massage therapist training program is for students to be able to make therapeutic decisions based on clinical reasoning, rather than simply following prescribed protocols.
This course does not have prerequisites and is best-suited for massage therapists, but is open to anyone with a good base level experience of soft tissue manipulation skills.
