Today at the Costa Rica School of Massage Therapy !

In CRSMT’s Kinesiology classes students gain an in-depth understanding of the skeletal, muscular, and articular systems of the human body.

Today’s class is focusing on the intrinsic muscles of the foot and the bones, joints, ligaments and retinacula of the ankle.

The students then practiced by drawing the ankle ligaments and the intrinsic muscles of the feet on each other. Later, as a surprise for them at the end of class…. they revisited those structures while they gave each other foot rubs! This group of students is working so hard and growing in leaps and bounds!

Here at CRSMT there is always some fun sprinkled in as well, like this past weekend’s dance class as a part of the health and wellness program.Some of the students are very well balanced… as you can see from the photo!
