During this time of uncertainty and fear, so many people are without jobs, money, and food. It is a scary time for everyone, but especially those who do not have a backup plan. In times like these, it is crucial that we stick together and help those that need it.
Here in Sámara, the community is doing just that. Being such a small community that relies so heavily on tourism, the quarantine has taken its toll on the economy here. What does that mean for locals who work in the tourism and hospitality industry? Unfortunately it means that many of them are without work and an income for the foreseeable future.
