Marion
received her B.S. at Davidson College in 1989. After working
as an outdoor leadership instructor, Marion was introduced
to the Rolf Method of Structural Integration and became
a certified practitioner in 1996. She completed an Associate’s
Degree in Nursing from A-B Tech College and a Certification
for Yoga Instruction from the Asheville Yoga Center in

Caputa is the Senior Science Instructor at CRSMT. Christa
comes to us from Portland, Oregon where she is pursuing
a Master's degree in Chinese Medicine. Christa has been
practicing massage since 2001 and has been an adult educator
for over 15 years. Facilitating others' self-healing has
led her to appreciate the essence of "deep tissue"
massage, touching someone on a deeper level. Structural

Musculoskeletal Anatomy - Board Preparation
Dan Webster entered the field of bodywork after retiring from a 25-year career in the banking industry. Making a total departure from the financial realm, he completed the Massage Therapy program at the Desert Institute of Healing Arts (now Cortiva Tucson) in Tucson, Arizona, graduating in 1998. While working full time at the Ventana Canyon Resort and Spa in Tucson, he continued his education in Neuromuscular Therapy (NMT); he now practices the St. John Method of NMT. Dan then opened his own NMT clinic in Tucson and later moved his home and business to the smaller, less bustling community of Cedar City, Utah, where he now resides. He is currently Dean of Students at Pura Vida College of Massage Therapy in Cedar City where he also teaches NMT, Musculoskeletal Anatomy, and Board Preparation. Dan says the complexity of the human body is extremely fascinating, and he finds satisfaction working on people with chronic pain and/or injury and helping them find relief. He enjoys hiking and camping with a group of Geologist friends and spends much of his leisure time outdoors.

Lynn Daniels graduated from BCMT in 1998. She is certified by the American Organization for Bodywork Therapies of Asia in Quantum and Zen Shiatsu. Lynn has taught bodywork at various colleges along the Front Range of Colorado since 2001. She is a devoted practitioner and eternal student of the art of Shiatsu believing the subject is deep enough to be a life-long pursuit. She loves sharing this passion with students hoping to inspire them to deepen their own enthusiasm in the study of massage. Lynn has brought her shiatsu practice to a variety of settings including hospitals, chiropractic offices, and health clubs as well as her own offices in Boulder and Brighton, Colorado for the past 11 years. She loves cross country running, having first been tutored in the sport by her husky/chow mix dog Tawny and she is an ardent weaver, juggling projects on all of her four looms.

After graduating from massage school in 1988, Kay then pursued Thai Massage, first with a local instructor, then in Thailand, where she returns frequently. She received her instructor certification in 1997 at the Institute of Thai Massage in Chiang Mai, Thailand. An active member of the Thai Healing Alliance International, Kay is committed to excellence and keeping abreast of changes in the field. She has authored The Thai Massage Workbook and The Passive Stretch Workbook: Table Thai and More. She teaches workshops all over the U.S., and maintains an active private practice in Seattle, Washington.

Susan Walkley has been a practicing massage therapist for sixteen years, specializing in medical massage, deep tissue and prenatal massage. She has taught Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology at the Swedish Institute College of Massage Therapy and Marymount Manhattan College in New York City and Medical Anthropology at the College of William and Mary in Virginia. She is also a registered nurse and teaches anatomy workshops for yoga teachers.

Beverley Giroud is a Nationally Certified and AZ State licensed massage therapist as well as a certified personal trainer. She graduated from the Desert Institute of the Healing Arts in 1999. She has certifications in NMT and Orthopedic Massage. She was an instructor at the Desert Institute for 7 years and taught myofascial and neuromuscular techinques, injury assessment and management, business, ethics, stone and spa classes. She currently teaches continuing education classes in ethics as well as neuromuscular, orthopedic assessment, and massage techniques. She has a private practice in Tucson, AZ. Her practice focuses on injury assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation as well as prescriptive exercise for postural alignment, core strength, and rehabilitation. Beverley is currently Chair of the Exam Development Committee for the NCBTMB.

Earle Timberlake is one of ten AMTA Approved Continuing Educators. He has been an active AMTA member (past Ohio chapter president, past Chair of the National Association's Finance Committee). He was a member of the Ohio Medical Board Advisory Committee on Massage, and chaired the Medical Board’s Craniomandibular Education Committee. His private practice is in Logan, Ohio. He has studied the work of Travell, Simons, Lewit, Schwartz, Upledger, St John, and others. In his teaching he offers an integrated approach stressing the value of letting the body's built in release mechanisms do the work. From 1983 to 1998 he was on the staff of Central Ohio School of Massage and developed and taught their acclaimed Advanced Course for Therapists.In addition, he has developed an extensive 5 weekend program of advanced clinical applications of massage which has over 1600 graduates throughout the Midwest. His publications include the text for that course, Somatic Release in Clinical Massage. Timberlake Massage Therapies is an approved continuing education provider for the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB).

Sephra received her BA in Anthropology from Ithaca College in 1999. Her passion for learning about and connecting with people led her to graduate from the Boulder College of Massage Therapy in 2004. Her experience includes work in chiropractic and physical therapy settings as well as in private practice. Her work focuses on supporting the body’s ability to heal and prevent injury through a variety of modalities and client education. She encourages each client’s connection to their body so that they become an active participant in their well being. She took her first step onto a yoga mat in a room full of 80 college students and for the last 10 years she has been deepening her practice. Theresa is an instructor in both the Massage and Skin Care programs at Soothing Arts School in Pensacola, Florida. She has been teaching Swedish massage, hydrotherapy, and aroma therapy for over 18 years. In 1985 she graduated as a Master Herbalist from Dr. Christophers School of Natural Healing and has been spreading 'weed wisdom' ever since. She started Coyote Moon Herb Co. which makes a wide array of herbal and aromatherapy products. She has taught internationally as a national continuing education provider. She loves gardening, saving seeds, folk dancing, travelling and bartering.
